About

Hi there, I’m Molly. I’m 23 years old and I’m from Suffolk in the UK.

I started this blog when I was 21 and had just completed a music degree at the University of Nottingham. Embarking into the world of adulthood, finally free from coursework and exams I planned to try new things, see new places and figure out this bizarre point in life where education has stopped and nobody has a clue what’s going on. What would be better than to really be modern and blog it all!?

yollymollytrolly centres around the concept of ‘yolo’ (sorry I once hated it, then used it ironically and now say it all the bloody time). ‘yollymolly’ had already been taken so I just decided to shove another ‘olly’ word on the end that has actually no relevance to anything.

More about me: I love Studio Ghibli films and can never resist a rom-com. My music taste seems to be older than I am. Sinatra, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and basically any 80s pop will never fail to put a smile on my face. I love cups of tea and am always happy when chocolate and/or cake is present. Hobbies include dress-making, baking, playing music and travelling!

My initial travelling is hardly exploring the Amazonian rainforest or finding myself in Vietnam but before uni I was once very shy and independence seemed like a terrifying experience. Since starting this blog I have visited several new countries and met loads of fantastic people. Plenty more opportunities coming my way!

So I hope you enjoy this website which will probably be full of cliches and soppy sayings (of which I apologise for in advance) as well as some stories and advice! Please get in touch if you have any questions! 😃💛
